Harvey Weinstein appeared in court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to several allegations of sexual misconduct in Los Angeles.
After appearing in court in a wheelchair, Weinstein pleaded not guilty to 11 charges of sexual assault. In court, his lawyer filed a motion to dismiss 3 of the 11 charges against him, stating that the statute of limitations has expired.
They also requested a medical examination on him-according to CNN, this was approved by the judge.
In Los Angeles, Weinstein faces four counts of rape, four counts of forcible oral sex, two counts of restrictive assault, and one count of sexual assault by force.

“He absolutely, unequivocally, and categorically denied the allegations in this indictment,” said his lawyer, Mark Werksman. “They are unprovable, unproven, untrustworthy and unproven, and this will become clear as we file a lawsuit on this case.”
Gloria Allred, representing the two victims, responded:
“Allegations of sexual assault and rape do take a long time to report, so the idea that they may not disclose to law enforcement officials for years does not mean that these allegations are not credible,” she said.
