To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Community Cooperative (ADCC) is the UAE’s first entity dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of UAE community members through innovative solutions. In the first phase, the online store offers 100,000 products with competitive prices, quality and community-oriented development for purchase. By the end of 2022, this number is expected to grow to 1,000,000. Products include electronics, fashion and beauty products, home and office supplies, groceries, healthcare and baby products. Other purchase options include picnics, camping and sporting goods.
ADCC’s first major development project, the online store aims to meet the needs of the community and help them achieve self-sufficiency in important areas such as education, healthcare, employment, and entertainment. E-commerce in the region is based on the “cash back principle”, which means that buyers of ADCC products/services will benefit from attractive cash back, while the rest will be used to enhance the socio-economic role of ADCC and support from statutory reserves Its financial status. Part of the income will be used to provide social support through ADCC’s upcoming project.
The cash back generated for each purchase will also be transparently and effectively credited to the dedicated membership card, and all members will receive it after confirming the subscription.

HE Ali Al Saloom, Chairman of the ADCC Board of Directors, asserted that the cooperative’s project is inspired by its goal of serving the rapidly changing needs and interests of the community, and this online store is a manifestation of this. He further added that the e-shop is a step towards innovating the traditional concept of cooperation by providing innovative economic solutions in a way related to modern society.
“This e-shop redefines the concept of online shopping. It integrates consumers into our investment projects, making them partners and active contributors to the development of this store. We will actively follow up on consumer needs, Requirements and consumption activities, and will regularly collect feedback on their preferred methods,” Al Saloom added.
