The Etihad Arena is located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, with a completely new environment. It is adjacent to the brand new Formula One circuit and has a multi-functional complex with everything that the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) provide.

Its construction meets the latest sustainable development requirements, not only for modern people, but also for future generations.

The arena has received prestigious recognition and was named Sustainable Building Design of the Year in the 2018 Middle East and North Africa Green Building Awards.By integrating energy-saving and water-saving building systems and building treatments, Etihad Arena has achieved 22.4% energy savings and 28% water savings Year by year.

The building can accommodate 18,000 spectators and can host large-scale international concerts, sports events, corporate gatherings, private events, and local community celebrations.

Using the latest technology of the FINA partner Myrtha Pools, the arena has been transformed into a world-class swimming facility for the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m). In addition to the competition pool, there is also a warm-up pool next to the big stage. All athletes representing 183 countries can enjoy the maximum comfort in the team area, while also fully satisfying the needs of the media.

Although all the venues used in the past few decades provide something special, the racing environment is also of the highest level. Nonetheless, the size, space, and service level are beyond what has been witnessed in the past.

Although this is not a competition, the first gold medal can already enter the arena and organizers because they have also created a unique combination of venues for the ongoing water festival.
