The first FUTR World Middle East ended successfully after a three-day immersive brand-led plan, experiential programming, and insightful group discussions with key opinion leaders.
This month’s Business, Entertainment and Innovation Festival in Manarat Al Saadiyat on Saadiyat Island welcomed more than 65 brands, 90 regional and international speakers, and more than 5,700 visitors.
FUTR World Middle East aims to stimulate the capital’s vast retail landscape and is a collaboration between the retail sector of the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Retail, Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), MP Singapore and FUTR Group.

The event is divided into three different elements: FUTR Festival showcases an amazing lineup of global music artists; FUTR Summit brings global business leaders and innovators together for collaboration and exchange; and FUTR Live provides a vibrant display Instagram pop-up window, New brands, gifts, stunt artists, delicious cooking demonstrations and more.
The FUTR Summit, an innovative business event, presents an experience not to be missed. Another highlight is FUTR Tastebud. The interactive presentation is hosted by vegetarian sushi brand Moby and supported by creative food platform Inked. Patrick Jarjour, the co-founder of Inked, said: “Incidents like this are rare. We have had a lot of fun in interacting with consumers, allowing them to discover high-quality plant-based foods, just like our sushi. The earth tastes great at the same time. Moby is the future of food. We are very happy to share it with Abu Dhabi at FUTR World.”
The various activities include a display at the Ice Cream Museum in New York, wonderful performances by Alicai Harley and talented DJs, including Crown Prince, Tala Samman, Sonya, Teejjae Mai, Megatronic, etc.
