After a one year hiatus (thanks Covid!) Bodytree’s annual Yoga Market makes a triumphant return to the Capital’s must-attend social calendar, starring special guest Amanda Lupia from Dubai!
Bodytree Studio will open all of its rooms and beautiful outdoor area for a full day of classes and workshops for attendees to be given the chance to work with and discover inspiring self-made individuals who are happy to enlighten and inspire with their health or spiritual journey .
Pioneering the way in being the ultimate motivators and championing positive well-being, Bodytree launched the Yoga Market back in 2013 with the sole purpose to celebrate community, love and spirituality with its expertly programmed wellness offerings. This year’s Yoga Market will host a range of new workshops and classes for all to enjoy – even your little ones. The schedule includes Chinese Meridian Yin Yoga and Power Vinyasa with Amanda Lupia, Sound of Yoga and Yoga Synergy with Vidya Venakteswaran, Push Your Limits with Michael Nielson, and much more!
At 9am, Shahad Labelle opens with a Chakra Balancing Flow that will help you align the energy centres along your spinal column. Although sounding like you should end the day with it, Angela Muller-Habig’s Stretch n Snooze Yin will kickstart your day with a deep stretch in the morning.
Are you looking to push yourself a little harder in your practice? Or look a little deeper and get a more of a restorative therapeutic work out? Taking place on our roof, Joelle’s Movement Flow at 10:30am will challenge your entire body coordination, stability , and strength through a series of animal/primal flow and martial arts in a yoga-esque flow. Joining us from The Yoga Institute (India’s oldest Yoga School) will be Head Teacher Sneha Arora with a Restorative/Therapeutic Yoga to release tension and energy blocks for a more calm state.
New to this year’s market schedule, is the 20-minute Thai Yoga Massage tasters with Angela. From 11am – 12pm, and 2pm – 3pm, customers can experience Angela’s wonderful healing hands and indulge in a blissful mini massage that will have you wanting more. Running alongside is another new session at the Yoga Market – private Reiki tasters with Heidi.
In-keeping of supporting the community and bringing everyone together, the incredible line-up of vendors are not only organic but are in-keeping with Bodytree’s ethos of being good to yourself and to the earth. International and local fitness brands that are on board are Lululemon, Kata & Asana, Art Central, Kibsons, The Clean Touch, Modi Body, Glow Destination and many more.
If all this hasn’t left you feeling spiritually enlightened and mentally relaxed, then you can finish the day off with transcendental music that has the ability to free your hearts from everyday stress and anxiety. Marking the end of the event, the ever-so popular ‘Soul Awakening’ Kirtan Dubai group will be returning with their gorgeous soulful sounds, creating the utmost perfect setting and vibe that guarantees everyone feeling good and inspired.
