Travelers who are on the sidelines of flying again may want to check out a new list of the world’s best airlines.

The airline safety website AirlineRatings.com has published its “world’s top airlines” list, which traditionally ranks airlines based on safety, in-flight service, passenger comfort, and routes.

But this year, new criteria are shaking up rankings. For the first time, airlines are judged to some extent by their response to the Covid-19 global pandemic.

AirlineRatings.com editor-in-chief Jeffrey Thomas said: “The new crown virus has affected ratings in two ways.” “Airlines must meet our standards to be considered. We removed profitability as a standard this year.”

The final winner is…

Qatar Airways, based in Doha, was launched in the mid-1990s and currently flies to more than 140 destinations.
