Tell us about yourself and how you started the company in Dubai.
I started Business Link in 1999 as a business setup consultant and had the vision to become one of the leading company formation service providers in UAE from a broader perspective. The company offers tailored solutions to customers to help them start, build a brand and grow seamlessly in Dubai and UAE.
What are the goals of the company?
My company goals and objectives are very clear within the hierarchy, i.e., excel in our services and never stop struggling to improve ourselves if we want to become a market leader for a business setup consultancy firm in UAE. Another goal of BusinessLink is to achieve and sustain a 100% customer satisfaction level to become the most preferred company formation advocate in Dubai.
What is the core strength of the company?
Right decisions at the right time are critical in setting up a business, and we, as business advocates, help in making the decisions. It is surreal how your role in somebody’s life can help them achieve their dreams. Business Link takes pride in building brands for entrepreneurs quickly and sustaining the business growth in UAE.
What was the path your company opted to get to where you are today?
The main philosophy of my company is to build the best team with extensive experience in company formation and PRO services. Then studying the client’s expectations to help them grow at a fast pace in their industry. Business Link works closely with the entrepreneurs and winning their trust in us is the key to our success.
Why did you start (or want to be the head of) this company?
Business Link is an epitome of a sincere effort that the people put in every single day. It is an honor for me to be a part of such a great venture that has enabled people to achieve their dreams for the past 25 years—going strong and catering to customers across the globe. Business Link stood strong at the start of this decade.
What have been the biggest challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I am a firm believer that challenges help you shine, and failures are the steppingstone toward success. Facing new challenges nudges me to be better than before, which also applies to my company. We have accepted challenges and overcome them with vigor but never fence ourselves against the next challenge. The situations we face make us more vigilant and prepare for future risks.
Give us one word that describes you the best.
Tenacious. If there is one thing I have learned from life, it is to hold on tight and hope for the best, an optimistic approach. I don’t give up easily. Once I am focused on achieving something, it’s a do-or-die situation for me.
What makes you excited about Mondays?
Honestly! It’s a blessing for me to wake up every day and do the job I love. At this point, I am grateful for the dreams that have come true. And I show my gratefulness by being sincere in what I do. When this happens, all days in the week are equally important and exciting.
What do you value most about your culture and vision?
Every culture can teach you something, but here at Business Link, I have been fortunate enough to witness a dynamic one that has helped me grow and contributed to shaping my vision. Today, UAE stands as a hub of enterprises becoming home to the biggest MNCs and entrepreneurial aspirations. We have been able to upgrade ourselves with this tremendous inflow of talent and knowledge.
Tell us about a project that forced you to be innovative and creative.
In my opinion, in today’s era, where technology is becoming an integral part of every business, and many of the new businesses are in eCommerce, it is not possible for any consultancy firm to not be innovative. Every day I hear about a new change in businesses, and daily, entrepreneurs are bringing in new ideas for starting their businesses.
Especially post-pandemic, we had to develop new-age ideas that addressed the customer issues and assisted them with options that were best suited for them in eCommerce applications. So I make it a point to approach my customers as individuals rather than mechanize the whole process as a sales marketing thing.
What are your company’s strategies, and how do they stand unique from your competitors?
Business Link puts competence and passion at the center of everything it does. We have a competitive advantage over others owing to our in-depth understanding of the business setup process. Equipped with knowledge about government rules and regulations and driven by strong moral principles to handle your business, Business Link has carved a niche for itself in the domain.
What are the key values that helped you overcome the roadblocks/challenges in your career? Tell us something about your memorable incident in your leadership?
When you are working with a team, it is essential to stay calm and embrace different viewpoints. I believe in the participative style of leadership, where every member of the team gets an equal opportunity to express their ideas to generate a solution. In any situation, good or bad, patience has helped me sail through. A calm mind opens doors for clear thinking and allows you to accept the situation, be creative and overcome any hurdles that come your way.
The biggest challenge for Business Link was to keep pace with the advancing technology, but as they say, every challenge presents itself to make you a better version of yourself. We were able to adopt new technological solutions and placed them at the heart of our business. Though it looked like a big hassle, it presented us with the biggest opportunity to cater to global customers.
How do you see the company changing in two years, and how do you see yourself creating that change?
Business Link as a company knows that the pandemic has impacted every sector globally. But with, the government’s efforts in facilitating businesses and introducing regulations to help recover from the pandemic are leading to improving the global economy. This has helped businesses reopen and created a significant opportunity for entrepreneurs to start new eCommerce businesses in UAE.
Being the best business setup consultants in UAE, we welcome all to bridge the lost connection of businesses with their customers. The recently hosted EXPO is a testament to the fact that better things are on their way, and we at Business Link are equipped to handle the advancing changes.
