Let’s assume salad dressing won’t do us any harm, and a little oil, sugar, and salt won’t do anything. But you’d be surprised how many off-the-shelf salad dressings contain artificial fillers and additives that are extremely harmful to our collective health.
Store-bought salad dressings may mention 100% extra virgin olive oil, a high-quality, good-for-you anti-inflammatory oil, but you’ll find many dressings, including so-called “olive oil” vinaigrettes, contain cheap inflammatory oils, such as soybean oil, are most commonly found in these products.
Many oils are highly refined and thus deprived of nutrients. Additionally, inflammatory oils such as soybean oil are processed at high temperatures, further damaging the oil’s integrity and increasing the risk of rancidity. Refined rancid oils can create inflammation in the body, the opposite of what you want when eating healthy fats.
Salad dressing can be made at home without any oil, but it turns out super delicious.
That’s what I’m sharing in this video.
Any “nasty ingredients” you have for free salad dressings/share with me in the comment box.
