According to sources close to Musharraf, the news circulating on social media about his transfer to Rawalpindi is false.

Earlier, some other sources claimed that Musharraf was transferred to Rawalpindi three days ago and received treatment at a hospital there. Reports also showed that security measures were tightened around the area and an alert was issued.
