According to UAE-based travel agencies, there have been no recent appointments for Schengen visas, prompting travellers from the UAE to look for holiday locations where visas are easy to obtain. “Albania, Georgia, Kenya, Israel are the top destinations for Eid al-Adha for UAE residents,” said Piljo Paul, Senior Advisor at AFC Holidays.
Paul added that e-visa fees for UAE residents can be as low as $6 or around Dh22 (Armenia). The e-visa fee for Kenya is approximately USD 50. Essentially, there are many places that offer UAE residents attractive holiday destinations for very little money and with little to no effort to apply for a visa.
