Abu Dhabi Police issued a traffic advisory after rain fell in parts of Abu Dhabi on Wednesday morning.
In an official tweet, police urged motorists to exercise caution due to the rainy weather.
They also urged drivers to abide by changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards throughout the emirate.

The National Weather Service is forecasting rain in some parts of the east, north and south on Wednesday.
Temperatures in Abu Dhabi will rise slightly, reaching a maximum of 42ºC.
