Turner & Townsend appoints Marc Fooks as head of UAE infrastructure

Marc Fooks will lead Turner & Townsend’s UAE infrastructure sector, where he will drive business growth through service excellence and digital solutions to improve and transform the performance of key infrastructure projects in the UAE.

He will drive performance through best-in-class processes and systems, backed by industry-leading training, technical assurance and Turner & Townsend’s market-leading consulting services.

As Director of Turner & Townsend’s UAE operations, Marc has over 30 years of experience in the industry. For the past nine years, he has maintained a track record of delivering significant added value to clients in the UAE. In his new role, Marc’s main goal is to drive the productivity and success of infrastructure projects designed to connect people and places across the UAE. Marc’s focus on transportation and sustainable infrastructure delivery will help Turner & Townsend’s domestic infrastructure business continue to grow.

Commenting on his promotion, Mark said: “I am delighted to take on this new role, leading the development and growth of our infrastructure team in the UAE and aligning our delivery with our core vision of developing a green, inclusive and productive environment “Placing the development of our people at the forefront of our strategy will help ensure we continue to support our clients in some of the most complex and high profile programmes in the UAE.”

Marc extended: “Driven by the country’s growing population, demand for urban mobility and the need to diversify its energy sector into renewable energy sources, the UAE government has launched a development agenda to expand its renewable energy energy and clean energy mix, and drive the construction of railways and national roads. The launch of passenger services by rail in the UAE presents an excellent opportunity to strengthen our position as a trusted advisor to our clients.
