Emirates sees record summer bookings in UAE

Emirates is bracing for its busiest period to date as travel rebounds from the impact of the pandemic, with more than 550,000 customers expected to fly from the UAE between June and July, with more than 2,400 weekly departures .

With the addition of its summer flight schedule, the airline will continue to add as many flights and frequencies as possible, and will be at nearly 80% of its pre-pandemic capacity, or more than 1 million seats per week this summer, to meet demand.

Daily bookings are accelerating as the summer holidays approach, and Emirates is urging customers who haven’t planned a holiday or have no travel arrangements to book ahead to ensure they can travel on their preferred dates and flights.

This year, travellers from the UAE will visit family and friends in six of Emirates’ UK destinations – Cairo, Amman, Emirates’ nine India locations, Manila and Beirut. Leisure tourist traffic from the UAE is also set to hit an all-time high, with dozens of tourists (mainly families and couples) heading to Bangkok, Istanbul, Vienna, Zurich, Nice, Phuket, Singapore, Oslo, Kuala Lumpur, Brisbane with Summer vacations on the U.S. West Coast will be extended as more countries continue to open up tourism and lift entry restrictions.

With many customers already waiting almost two years to travel, Emirates is working hard to ensure it offers an incredible in-flight experience and a seamless journey on the ground.

On the ground, passengers can expect a speedy process by taking advantage of the airline’s biometric pathways in Terminal 3 for a contactless journey from designated check-in counters, Emirates lounges and gates. The airline has also rolled out other technology-focused services, including self-check-in and bag drop kiosks at DXB, to provide a smoother and contactless airport experience. Emirates customers also now have the option to shorten their wait times through 25 mobile check-in ports, where they can obtain their boarding pass, weigh and tag their bags, and have check-in staff answer any questions they may have.

Customers based in Ajman and the northern UAE can skip the DXB queue and take advantage of the airline’s Ajman check-in facility, which is open 24/7. From Abu Dhabi, Emirates passengers can take the airline’s bus service, which now operates five times a day.

First class passengers can take advantage of Emirates’ new Home Check-in service, which allows them to check-in from home for free. Emirates First Class customers in Dubai and Sharjah can have a check-in agent come to their home or hotel at the scheduled time to complete all check-in procedures, including document verification, bag drop and boarding pass issuance. The airport has a dedicated counter for storing last-minute extra bags.

Onboard, customers can expect dishes with regional flavors, special menus and unmatched beverages in all classes, as well as many other amenities. Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system ice now offers more than 5,000 channels with content in 40 languages ​​to suit every taste and preference, including 4,000 hours of the latest movies and TV shows, and nearly 3,500 hours of music and podcasts to choose from .

The airline will fly to 35 A380 destinations this summer, and customers can look forward to the airline’s signature experience aboard its flagship double-decker aircraft, including its popular in-flight lounge and shower spa, as well as other award-winning experience. Cabin class.

From 1 August, passengers flying from Dubai to London, Paris and Sydney will be able to experience the airline’s full premium economy class experience, including DXB’s dedicated check-in area, plush seats with up to 40-inch pitch, offering unparalleled comfort, soft, sustainable blankets and comfort kits, premium onboard cuisine and a selection of premium beverages, among other thoughtful services.

Clients returning from vacations abroad can use my Emirates Pass to continue their summer experience in Dubai.
