What is your itinerary for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?

Thursday

You will arrive in Dubai to begin your journey. You’ll find the SportsBreaks.com bulletin board at the hotel reception. This will show you all the important information and transfer times for the weekend, and your SportsBreaks representative will be nearby if you have any questions.

Friday

You will be able to spend the day leisurely.

Saturday

If you’ve added eligible airfare and coach transfers to your package, enjoy breakfast and meet at the front desk so you can head to Yas Island early in the morning. Just a short walk from the entrance, you’ll be ready for a great day as the battle for pole position begins. If you’re not heading to the track, the day is for your enjoyment.

Sunday

Game day! Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then meet your touring transfer at the reception. When you arrive at Yas Island, your SportsBreaks representative will tell you when to return to the coach after the game. Then you can enjoy all the excitement of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Places to explore in Abu Dhabi

When you’re not seeing a Formula 1 race, there’s a lot to see and do during your time in Abu Dhabi.

Ride the world’s fastest roller coaster at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, you can reach speeds of up to 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds, cool down with one of the more than 40 water rides at Yas Waterworld, or Experience in the fantastic environment of Warner Bros. Worldâ„¢ Abu Dhabi – Spread across six different ‘lands’, it provides an immersive, fully air-conditioned experience that takes you to some of your favorite movies.

Alternatively, Yas Shopping Centre has 370 shops, cafés and restaurants for you to browse, ranging from department stores to high-end designer brands.

Why visit the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?

The race around Yas Marina is Formula 1’s only daytime event. From sunset, drivers will experience changing light conditions as the track floodlights progress as the race progresses, making the most of Abu Dhabi’s prime time.

It’s also the last chance to watch Formula 1 in 2022, and with the longer winter break this year, heading to Yas Marina will be a great time to get that adrenaline-pumping final shot before the season ends.

You’ll also see the 2022 World Champion officially crowned at Yas Marina, and if last year was anything to go by, this year’s title race may still be heading into the weekend.

Abu Dhabi has been home to many farewells as the sport approaches over the years, and this year’s race will be your last chance to see legendary four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel ), kicked off one of the most successful careers in Formula 1 history.

But you’ll also have the chance to see the stars of tomorrow hit the track, as the Formula 2 season draws to a close at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend – where future Formula 1 talent will almost certainly be revealed.

The fun doesn’t end on the track, however, with post-race concerts taking place in the evening – some of the world’s most recognizable artists have headlined the event in previous years.

This year, DJ supergroup Sweden House Mafia has been confirmed on Friday 18 November, and after Saturday’s qualifying session, global rap superstar Kendrick Lamar will take the stage.

Best Viewing Points for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The West Stand offers views of Turns 8 and 9, the main area for overtaking on the track. Plus, Abu Dhabi Hills is right in the middle of the track and has a relaxed family vibe.

Plus, the main stand has an excellent view of the start/finish straight, and you’ll be the perfect spot to witness the stunning fireworks display as the checkered flag is waved for the last time in 2022.
