Like people and the environment, people are an important pillar of sustainable development. Human Sustainability develops a positive culture in the workplace. Just as a community is filled with residents, a building becomes a home for its occupants, and employees enrich their company. As a result, companies can run a variety of programs aimed at improving employee well-being, productivity, and retention.
According to a report, more than a quarter of employees in the UAE may need to upskill post-Covid. Globally, 65% of employees believe workforce development must be a top business priority. Therefore, in some cases, employee upskilling or retraining is critical to success.
A strong training and development program can encourage a culture of continuous learning and improve employee morale, efficiency, and productivity. Training programs will also prepare employees to take on more responsibilities and help develop their leadership skills.
Similarly, another study showed that employees with mental health issues who were not receiving proper care had a 50% reduction in engagement. It also said that 78% of organizations believe that ensuring employee well-being is one of the drivers of organizational performance, and 96% believe that happiness is the responsibility of the company.

It’s all about the practice and implementation of initiatives to build long-term partnerships by working with and listening to the community. It also helps companies build healthier, more fulfilling community lifestyles by providing exceptional service.
Active community engagement initiatives lead to happier residents, resulting in higher demand, better tenant retention and a stronger brand image and reputation, ultimately helping to improve ROI.
