UAE royals compare deaths of Muslims to Holocaust, suggest Jews haunted by Holocaust

[ad_1]

An Emirati royal has compared the Holocaust to the deaths of Muslims in various wars, suggesting that Jews used the Nazi genocide to gain sympathy and victimization, while Muslims “move on”.

Princess Hender bint Faisal Qasimi, a royal from the Qasimi dynasty that rules Sharjah, the third-largest city in the United Arab Emirates, tweeted her complaint on Saturday in a series of statements The latest in , which includes harsh criticism of Israel, as well as anti-Semitism.

The princess has more than 533,000 followers on Twitter. Her tweets often go viral, attracting thousands of retweets and likes.

“6,636,235 Jews were killed in WWII and killed in Europe,” she tweeted. “At least 12.5 million Muslims have been killed in wars over the past 25 years. You’ve never heard of a Muslim writing a book, a movie, a law, and if you don’t sympathize with our plight, you’re not alone. We forgive and move on.”

It is unclear where Al-Qasimi got her data on Muslim deaths, although they may be based on An assessment by a Turkish scholar published a few years ago.

On Sunday, she exploited the anti-Semitic myth of Jewish control of global affairs, including international media, in her criticism of Israel’s actions in Gaza.

“The media you control knows who wants you to feel no sympathy for dead babies claiming that their terrorist dads purposely used them as human shields. No one believes you. Grow up. Stop the war. #Gaza,” she wrote road.

A look at Al-Qasimi’s online presence on Twitter and elsewhere shows that such claims are common.

In another article, she claimed that Palestinians suffered “exactly” the same fate as Jews during the Holocaust.

“We all cry for what the Nazis did to the German Jews. However, it is interesting that the same Zionists do not cry for the exact same thing they did to the Palestinians. If they don’t leave, Just take their home, terrorize them and bomb it. The dead don’t speak.”

The princess’ hostile views stand out mainly because of her status as a senior member of the royal family of the United Arab Emirates, whose friendship with the Jewish state has flourished since the two countries signed a normalization agreement in 2020. The U.S.-backed Abraham Accords.

Her posts also stand out in regions where Holocaust denial is rampant.

Qasimi first gained international media attention in 2020 for her outspokenness about Islamophobia on social media.

“Hate speech is the beginning of genocide,” she wrote in April 2020. “Gandhi once said: ‘An eye for an eye, and the whole world is blind.’ Let us learn from the bloody history and pictures and movies we now have on record. Understand that death leads to death and love leads to love. Prosperity It starts with peace,” she added.

In November, she launched an online attack on prominent Indian TV anchor Sudhir Chaudhary, who she accused of holding Islamophobic views.

In addition to her online presence, Al-Qasimi is a businesswoman, journalist, and editor-in-chief of a lifestyle magazine.
