Godel Technologies joins UAE’s NextGenFDI program

The Ministry of Economy (MoE) has announced that Godel Technologies, a UK-based agile software development company founded in 2002, has become the latest digital enterprise to join the UAE’s landmark NextGenFDI programme.

According to a WAM report, the move supports the country’s concerted efforts to achieve the NextGenFDI goals, which the ministry has launched with seven strategic partners, which are also some of the UAE’s leading organisations.

As the latest addition to the initiative, Godel Technologies has relocated its regional headquarters to the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), with plans to create 250 jobs over two years.

Dr. Sani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, said: “The UAE continues its efforts to attract foreign direct investment, innovative talent and talent. The implementation of the NextGenFDI initiative is in line with the UAE’s vision to build a new economic model. Innovation and sustainability as the foundation. Attracting leading global players such as Godel Technologies to invest and expand in the country’s market reflects the huge potential of the program since it was launched last July.

He further noted that the Ministry of Economy will continue to work with partners to achieve the initiative’s goals and attract leading businesses and international talent from developed markets or developing economies, and that more new companies will join the initiative. Be proactive quickly.

The NextGenFDI program seeks to attract some of the world’s best software developers, data scientists, computer programmers and digital asset leaders across a wide range of technology fields, including Web 3.0, artificial intelligence, gaming and data science.

The Ministry of Economy, along with other stakeholders in the initiative, will support Godel Technologies by facilitating optimised company structures, bank preparation support through Emirates NBD, bulk visa processing, and accommodation for employees.

Godel is the second company to take advantage of the NextGenFDI program, which provides global businesses with globally competitive market access support to help them enter the UAE market. Full-stack food technology company Krush Brands was the first to join NextGenFDI, relocating its global headquarters to the UAE under the program.

Godel Technologies currently employs over 1,800 people in offices in the UK, Poland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Georgia and Ukraine. It focuses on software engineering, quality assurance, automation, data engineering and analytics, agile consulting, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and machine learning, mobile solutions, and more. The company serves the e-commerce, financial, energy, automotive, travel, manufacturing, professional services and retail industries.

The benefits of NextGen FDI include accelerated business setup processes, bank preparation, simpler visa procedures, and attractive commercial and residential lease terms. To provide smoother market access, the initiative brings together stakeholders from the government and private sector. Current partners include DIFC, Abu Dhabi Global Market, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, Dubai Internet City, Dubai South, UAE NBD and digital banking platform Wio.

Godel Technologies will operate at NextGenFDI partner DIFC, joining nearly 600 other digital businesses. According to the DIFC Authority, DIFC has the region’s largest fintech and innovation community in the Middle East and North Africa, where approximately 60% of regional fintech companies already have a base. NextGenFDI partner UAE NBD will provide banking support to Godel Technologies.
