Rotana enters the Algerian market with new Oran resort

Rotana, the region’s leading hotel management company with over 100 hotels in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Türkiye, has announced its entry into the Algerian market with Azure Rotana Resort & Spa.

The resort in the Algerian port city of Oran will open in March 2023.

Azure Rotana Resort & Spa is located on the Mediterranean coast, close to the city’s iconic landmarks, including Fort Santa Cruz and Plaza 1 January. Combining authenticity and contemporary design, the hotel will feature 185 spacious guest rooms and suites, including eight ambassador suites with ocean views.

Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options at five restaurants, including the Lobby Lounge, Shisha Terrace, All Day Dining, Pool Bar and Specialty Restaurant.

Guy Hutchinson, President and CEO of Rotana, said: “The Azure Rotana Resort & Spa as our first hotel in Algeria is an important milestone as we continue to expand our presence in the region. Additionally, Azure Rotana Resort & Spa will offer a range of services and facilities, including state-of-the-art spa and treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, saunas and a kids club. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 300 people, along with three well-appointed meeting spaces and a business center to meet any business need.
