Kim Wilde wants Harry Styles to headline Glastonbury.
The 61-year-old singer thinks the former One Direction star is “very lovely” but also has talent and personality to top the pyramid stage at next year’s world-famous music festival.
It was previously rumoured that Harry would headline the Worthy Farm extravaganza this June, but Sir Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar took the honour.
The ’80s pop star told Best UK about the ‘Gold’ singer: “Well, I do think he’s cute. I have to stay.
“He’s like a breath of fresh air. I love his voice; I love his style.
“So yeah, I’m kind of obsessed with Harry. He should play Glastonbury next year.”
The hit producer of “American Kids” admitted in a previous issue of the magazine that she likes the 28-year-old singer — she’s dating another 38-year-old actress and filmmaker, Wilde.
When asked who her celebrity fans are, Kim said: “Don’t laugh…Harry Styles!
“I think I’d blush if he walked into my house.”
Kim also recalled being “passionately in love” with the late David Bowie while on tour to support him, even though she knew she wouldn’t “go in and see.”
She said: “I was passionately in love with Bowie – but he was in love with his fiancée Iman at the time – and I didn’t go in to see it.
“I loved him from afar.
“As soon as I saw him, I thought, ‘Oh my God, you’re the most incredible person.’
“How can you not love David Bowie?!”
