Abu Dhabi: The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi is organising a three-day arts festival to mark India’s 75th Independence Day.
The Azadi Arts Festival is a three-day arts event that kicks off on Saturday, August 13th and celebrates Indian art and artists in a unique way through Artscrafts, the one-stop destination for art lovers for everything related to art.
It was the “first public event” at the Indian embassy since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over 60 artists (mostly from lesser-known names) were given a platform to showcase their talents.
The Azadi Arts Festival will end on 15th August with a closing concert at 3pm UAE time. All prizes will be distributed by Artscrafts in front of celebrities.
The festival’s theme aligns with the celebration called “Azadi ka Amrit Mahutsav”, an initiative launched by the Indian government last year to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence.

On Saturday 13th August, the flash mob took place at the Al Ghurair Centre as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.
On Friday, 12 August, the Consulate General of India in Dubai paid tribute to the motherland through music, and the Maa Tujhe Salam Music Concert kicked off the celebration of Independence Day 2022.
