The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre was named the world’s best international exhibition center in 2020 at the London awards ceremony

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center is owned and operated by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (part of ADQ) and has been named the best international exhibition center in 2020 by the world’s leading industry organization “Exhibition News”. The award was awarded in London, England, to recognize the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre as one of the most outstanding exhibition venues in the world.

During 2020, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre has performed well in hosting high-level events and providing important support to Abu Dhabi and the UAE at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The center hosted a series of professional exhibitions, including the leading self-driving car and robot event in the Middle East, UMEX and SimTEX 2020, and 11^day World Urban Forum meeting.

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center was handed over to the Abu Dhabi health services company SEHA. ADNEC employees worked closely with colleagues from the health company to transform the center into a field hospital, and then testing and vaccines Vaccination center. ADNEC’s other two exhibition centers, Al Ain Conference Center and ExCeL London, have also been converted into field hospitals to support COVID-19 relief efforts in the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
