Mr. Helal Mohamed Al Hameli, Deputy Director General, Advisory Centre and Council, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, accompanied by Mr. Souleymane Hebie, received Dr. Agraba Patricia Badolo, Deputy Director General, Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Burkina Faso in Abu Dhabi than the embassy charge d’affaires.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the promotion of trade and investment, as well as the role of the Abu Dhabi and Burkina Faso Chambers of Commerce and their role in developing their respective local economies and services to businesses in Abu Dhabi and Burkina Faso.
During the meeting, Al Hameli highlighted the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce’s keenness to strengthen its relationship with chambers of commerce around the world, especially in Africa, while opening new channels of communication with them.
Deputy Director General Hameli briefed the visiting delegation on Abu Dhabi’s attractive business environment and the most important legislation introduced by the government in its vision for the next fifty years. He also presented several economic indices that shed light on the UAE’s position as one of the most favoured destinations for doing business and investment, noting that the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce is interested in strengthening cooperation with Burkina Faso and offering UAE businesses an opportunity to explore Opportunities to diversify investment prospects in different sectors such as agriculture, industry, mining and infrastructure.
For her part, Dr Badolo praised her welcome at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, noting the need to explore new opportunities for cooperation in different areas and highlighting the many opportunities her government offers foreign investors.
The Deputy Director-General invited the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce to participate in the West African Business Development Forum – AFRICALLIA 2022, to be held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, next October, praising the UAE’s successful economic model. She also places great emphasis on transferring the UAE’s knowledge and experience in all economic, trade and administrative fields to Burkina Faso businesses to better serve the bilateral interests of Abu Dhabi and Burkina Faso.
