Al Qasimi Publications publishes the novel “Biography of Kilwa Sultan” by Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of Sharjah and Ruler.
The novel tells the biography of the sultans of Kilwa Island, their reasons for immigrating to Africa, the events that happened to them, and the trials and tribulations of their rule.
The 114-page novel contains 11 chapters and an appendix, Kilwa Sultan’s genealogical chain, and dozens of Arabic and foreign sources and references.
The Sharjah ruler’s proven and accurate scientific records are able to dispel and resolve unknown puzzles about Kilo’s history. His research is based on the manuscript known as “The Book of Salwar in the History of Kilva”, and everything about it. He also consulted the documents and manuscripts he possessed concerning the genealogy and history of Persia, ancient and Portuguese documents, and other references and sources.
This book is the latest publication of Dr. Sheikh Sultan, who has 76 publications in history, drama and literature in his name, many of which have been translated into 20 foreign languages.
