Abu Dhabi: An Indian woman living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has won AED 1 million (Rs 2,16,79,737 Rs. ) of the grand prize.
The winner of the raffle, Selvarani Deniel Joseph, won the raffle with one of the 80 coupons she bought at LuLu Mall.
Originally from Tamil Nadu, India, Selvarani has lived in the UAE for the past 14 years and has always enjoyed shopping at LuLu.
She is currently on holiday in her home state of Tamil Nadu. Srlvarani’s husband, Arulsekar Antonysamy, chose the winning amount.
The couple have two children, a son studying engineering in Tamil Nadu and a daughter in Year 12 at a school in the city.
“I will use the winning amount for my child’s studies. I want my daughter to do MBBS. We also want to help those in need,” Antonysamy told Khaleej Times.
From April to the first week of August 2022, shoppers who spend at least AED 200 (Rs 4,335) at any of the nine participating LuLu malls in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will receive an offer Coupon numbers to enter the grand sweepstakes and other weekly prizes.
Apart from the grand prize, there are also several weekly raffles with prizes of AED 25,000 (Rs 5,41,993).
The second season of “Millionaire” after two years was conceived by Line Investments and Property, the shopping center development and management arm of LuLu Group International.
