Abu Dhabi Airports signs agreement with ICP to improve service quality – News

Abu Dhabi Airports, operator and manager of five airports in the UAE, recently signed an agreement with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) to improve service quality and enhance passenger experience.

The agreement stems from Abu Dhabi Airports and ICP’s keenness to adopt best practices in the areas of security, safety and air transport. The partnership aims to achieve the highest level of service excellence across all Abu Dhabi Airports terminals and facilities.

Commenting on the agreement, Major General Saeed Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Abu Dhabi’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, said the agreement certifies entities associated with Abu Dhabi Airports and various authorities’ services provided through the Ministry of Aviation and Seaports.

He stressed that the authorities are leading a mission to strengthen travel procedures for passport control and passenger transit procedures in accordance with the highest standards of service quality, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and systems for validating travel documents and departure and entry permits. Al Shamsi added that the signing of the agreement reflects the mutual interest of both parties in advancing the working mechanism, highlighting potential areas of cooperation and strengthening the commitment through a unified vision that instills a culture of service excellence.
