Hailey Bieber admits she and Justin put in a lot of ‘hard work’ to get their marriage going.

The 25-year-old model tied the knot with singer Justin in a court ceremony in 2018 before a more formal wedding and celebration the following year – as she opened up about the challenges the married couple faces and how she works the relationship on her own .

She told Harper’s BAZAAR magazine: “He’s still someone I want to rush back to. I might fly somewhere to work, but I can’t wait to come back and hang out.

“I think that’s because both sides put in the effort. At the end of the day, he’s my best friend, but it’s still a lot of work to make it work.

“And then I knew that, eventually, when the kids were in the picture, that would be another whole season of exploring how to make that happen.”

Earlier this year, Hailey was rushed to hospital after she thought she had symptoms of a stroke, only to find a blood clot in her brain.

In addition to her health issues, Justin has his own, which forced him to postpone the world tour.

However, she insists it’s important to “figure out what to do with this bastard” together and face any challenges as a whole.

She explained: “You don’t think things out and get married, you get married and figure things out.

“I just think life is always changing. Day by day, week by week, year by year. I think the last six months are a perfect example of how we’ve both been through really bad health scares.

“You have to figure out what to do with this bastard, you know? There’s a reason they say ‘good or bad’. Like, it’s true!”
