Accor Group signs agreement to open Rixos Marina in Abu Dhabi

Accor, a world-leading hotel group with over 420 hotels in India, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, will expand its luxury portfolio with the opening of its fourth Rixos property in the UAE in Q3 2022 (Q3) .

Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi will offer the best fusion of Arabic and Turkish cuisine and hospitality. This diverse resort will enhance the guest experience through incredible design, ambience, cuisine, entertainment and unique leisure services. Inspired by the fishing and pearling heritage of the UAE, the resort combines palatial splendor with 21st century aesthetics to create a captivating marine setting and breathtaking views.

Since joining forces in 2017, the priority for Accor and Rixos has been to work together to seize new opportunities and strengthen the brand’s presence in the Middle East and the wider region. Rixos is a pioneering hospitality brand whose expertise is based on an ultra-all-inclusive concept with vibrant, luxurious ambience and family-friendly adventures.

Located on a man-made breakwater known as Abu Dhabi Marina, Rixos Abu Dhabi Marina will share facilities with Fairmont Marina Residences, offering guests unobstructed views of the sea and the Abu Dhabi skyline.

The resort will also have extensive food and beverage offerings, including restaurants, lounges, bars and food trucks. Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi will align with Rixos properties around the globe, often beyond hotel accommodation, and will also feature a range of leisure and entertainment facilities.

Among its many venues, the entertainment plaza attracting world-renowned DJs, performers and adrenaline-pumping shows will be a highlight for visitors. The Beach Club will further provide guests with the opportunity to admire Abu Dhabi’s gleaming skyline from pristine beaches, while savoring a rich culinary experience. Exclusively designed for VIP guests staying in luxury suites, the VIP Marina Bar and Lounge will be the perfect venue for special events, private evenings and those looking to upgrade to an ultra-luxury experience.

Multiple additional shops and more than 2,800 square meters of meeting space, including a 1,250 square meter ballroom that can be divided into four rooms, will complete the hotel’s incredible dining and event facilities.

In addition to the above facilities, the hotel will also provide a fountain and a children’s pool. The outdoor recreation area will feature a health bar and outdoor fitness facilities, including state-of-the-art fitness equipment and a studio for cardio, yoga and private fitness classes.
