Faisalabad – UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi pledged on Thursday that his country, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will take the necessary steps to invest, especially in Faisalabad as a priority.
He was speaking with the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) delegation, which met him under the chairmanship of President Atif Munir Sheikh. He recalled a previous visit to the FCCI and said he was unable to follow up because of Covid.
He expressed satisfaction with Faisalabad’s untapped potential and said he would persuade Dubai investors to build state-of-the-art industrial units in the city. “I will persuade investors to visit Faisalabad to explore its potential in different fields,” he added, adding that he will also facilitate Pakistani investors who intend to invest in Dubai.
President Atif Munir Sheikh briefed the ambassador on investment opportunities in the industrial, commercial and commercial hub of Pakistan. He specifically mentioned the Pakistan Economic Conference and said that the conference was a great success as it managed to identify different industries where safe investments can be made with reasonable profits.
He said he would share the thoughts and results of the Pakistan Economic Conference so that investors can critically analyze it before investing in their chosen industry. The FCCI chairman said that if the Pakistani embassy supported the idea, the next meeting could be scheduled in Dubai.
In addition to Rashid Munir, M Azhar Chaudhry, Umar Abdul Latif and Sajjad Anwar, Rashid Abdulrahman Al-Ali, Deputy Head of the UAE Delegation, also attended the meeting.
