Safeen Marine Service achieves key safety milestone

United Arab Emirates – Safeen Marine Services, part of AD Ports Group’s maritime cluster, announced that it has achieved zero Lost Time Injury (LTI) and zero environmental incidents on over 5 million man-hours since its launch in 2012.

Safeen Marine Services operates in 9 commercial ports in the UAE and the Middle East, extending the HSE policy to a comprehensive portfolio of integrated and tailored maritime services and solutions, including towing, terminal support services, emergency response, vessel assistance, inspections , and transport maintenance.

Captain Adil Alhammadi, Chief Executive Officer of AD Ports Group Safeen Marine Services, said: “We are proud to announce that we have successfully achieved 5 million man-hours, zero lost-time injuries and zero environmental incidents, underscoring our commitment to AD Ports Group’s robust health, from Safety and Environmental (HSE) practices cultivated to the highest industry standards.

“We have achieved this remarkable achievement by promoting a safety culture across the organization that includes progressive HSE policy updates, regular audits, emergency drills, and regular internal safety and training programs to promote the well-being of our employees while maintaining A sewn supply chain provides a network for our customers,” said Alhammadi.

Overseen by more than 200 senior professional marine experts, Safeen says its fleet is today one of the largest and most advanced in the region, including tugboats, pilot and speedboats, maintenance vessels, landing craft and ferries.

“Safeen Marine Services’ commitment to HSE has received some of the industry’s most acclaimed awards and recognition, including most recently the 2021 Stevie Awards for Business,” noted Alhammadi.

In addition, the company’s tugboats, speedboats and vessels are recognized regionally and globally as the most efficient and advanced units, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to minimize energy consumption and emissions, he added.
