RoyalJet appoints Mohammed Husain Ahmed as new CEO

RoyalJet, the world’s leading premium private airline owned by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, has announced the appointment of Mohammed Husain Ahmed as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Mohammed has extensive experience in the aviation industry, with over 25 years of experience in the UAE government and private sector. A committed leader who has developed strong, proven management and organizational skills in both military and civilian environments, he is an accomplished aviation expert with a long history of achievement in the industry.

“We are delighted that Mohammed has joined RoyalJet as CEO. RoyalJet’s role in the UAE economy and regional aviation is well known and with Mohammed’s expertise and experience, we are at the dawn of another successful and glorious era,” said Sheikh Mohammed Bin, Chairman of RoyalJet Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan said.

Prior to joining RoyalJet, Mohammed was General Manager of Abu Dhabi Airports, overseeing the planning, implementation and evaluation of the organisation’s programmes and services. He also supports the development of a vision and strategic plan to guide the organization to ensure that the expectations of customers, boards and founders are met.

Previously, Mohammed spent nearly 12 years at Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL), serving as Vice President of Commercial and Government Affairs in the last phase of the organization’s service. Mohammed holds an Air New Zealand International License for Air Traffic Control Operations.

With attention to detail and vision, Mohammed is a confident trainer, coach and mentor capable of delivering operational excellence and high standards of performance against operational and organizational goals and metrics.

“I am extremely excited to be a part of this pioneering and visionary organization and look forward to driving RoyalJet to even greater growth and success,” said Mohammad.

In addition to serving as CEO of RoyalJet, Mohammed is a board member of the Abu Dhabi Government Flight Test Facility. – arab trade news agency
