Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), the UAE Talent Competitiveness Council (NAFIS) and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) organised the second meeting , to raise awareness of the NAFIS incentives for the UAE’s competitiveness programme. The meeting also highlighted the importance of the Cabinet’s decision to increase the Emiratisation of the private sector and the UAE’s contribution to UAE growth.

Held at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce headquarters, the meeting was attended by His Excellency Rashid Abdulkarim Al Blooshi, Abu Dhabi’s Deputy Minister of Economic Development, and His Excellency Farida Al Ali, Assistant Deputy Minister for National Human Resource Employment. Ministry of Human Resources and Emirates. The meeting included representatives from the NAFIS Council and the private sector, as well as entrepreneurs from various industries in the UAE.

The session covered key topics, including an overview of the government’s recent decision to increase the Emiratisation of the private sector, and NAFIS’ planned incentives to support the government’s decision. This contributes to the realization of the UAE’s vision of enhancing the role of the nation’s human resources and their contribution to the country’s economic development.

Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration between various government, federal and local entities to expedite the recruitment of national talent from the private sector as they play a key role. role in supporting the country’s economic development. His Excellency commended the UAE’s efforts to increase the rate of emirates in the private sector and encouraged companies to adopt strategies to provide national talent with competitive career paths, enabling them to achieve their ambitions and achieve great success.

His Excellency Rashid Abdulkarim Al Blooshi, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi, said: “Our participation in this meeting confirms our commitment to support strategic partnerships to strengthen the Emiratisation of the private sector. The UAE is an important partner in supporting the country’s economic and social development, We are therefore eager to continue our efforts to provide the right business environment with a wide range of opportunities for active contributors to the industry.”

“As part of initiatives to promote Emiratisation, the UAE government has allocated AED 24 billion to support the entry of 75,000 UAE nationals into the private sector, and the Talent Competitiveness Council recently launched 11 initiatives to increase Emiraisation. The Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy aims to provide 13,600 professional jobs for skilled human resources in the UAE. We will continue to work with various agencies to achieve the goals of these strategic initiatives,” added His Excellency Al Blooshi.

Her Excellency Farida Al Ali, Assistant Under-Secretary for National HR Employment, Ministry of Human Resources and UAE, affirmed the importance of collaboration between federal and local government agencies and relevant private sector agencies to engage UAE HR in the private sector in support of the government’s efforts and policies. This will strengthen the participation of UAE nationals in key economic sectors and help promote sustainable development of the national economy.

She said: “The NAFIS programme and the decision to increase the Emiratisation of the private sector is one of the most important efforts to support the Emiratisation initiative in the country. In order to increase the Emiratisation of the private sector, it is important to raise awareness of private company owners and their representatives. requirements of the NAFIS programme and increase awareness of private sector emirateisation initiatives and identify opportunities and benefits for both initiatives.” She highlighted the importance of increasing the number of UAE nationals in skilled jobs by 2% per annum and on the NAFIS platform Include vacancies for the company’s Emiratisation goals and plans and begin taking the necessary steps to appoint UAE nationals.

As part of the meeting, Amna Al Suwaidi presented the NAFIS programme, the opportunities and advantages it offers, and its benefits for the private sector.

Ahmed Al Janahi of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization detailed the government’s recent decision to increase Emiratization in the private sector. Al Janahi discussed the benefits and incentives offered by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation to support Emiratisation and the guidelines that private companies should follow to benefit from these incentives.
