Leaders of UAE, Egypt, Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq come together The summit on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast is being hailed as an opportunity to strengthen inter-Arab partnership.
President Sheikh Mohammed arrived in the coastal city of New El Alamein on Sunday, with Bahrain’s King Hamad, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Kadimi on Monday with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Meet H. Sisi.

Mohammad Hegazi, a current political commentator and a former assistant to Egypt’s foreign minister, said the summit “brings hope to Arab countries as it aims to reach an Arab solution to the crisis plaguing the region”.
There has been considerable cooperation among the five countries.
Last month, Bahrain joined Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development Previously included Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. The agreement increases the industrial manufacturing value added of the informal alliance to more than $112.5 billion.
