Dubai-based restaurant 3Fils, a Japanese restaurant in Jumeirah fishing port, has appointed two new sushi chefs, Frances Sintin and Angelica Fonjock, to key roles in the sushi kitchen.
Two new female sushi chefs join 3Fils’ Executive Chef Shun Shiroma and an enthusiastic and motivated team of chefs, offering premium Asian cuisine heavily influenced by Japanese cuisine, with a weekly showcase of select ingredients imported directly from Japan.
Following her predecessor at the Jubilee Kitchen at Expo 2020, Chef Frances, who joined the team this month, commented on her recent appointment: “I am focused and ready to prepare every dish to perfection. It is very exciting to join the 3Fils team , especially as the brand was named the best restaurant in the MENA region in this year’s inaugural MENA 50 Best Restaurants Awards.”
Chef Angelica also joins the team this month with a passion for sushi making and a keen skill for making irresistible rolls – perfected in a culinary career where she has worked in several well-known sushi kitchens .
Speaking of her appointment, she said: “I am proud to further discover my career in Japanese cuisine at 3Fils, the kitchen is a quality oriented and inspiring place. We are exposed to new technologies every day and ingredients in order to provide the best dining experience for our guests. In my new role, I hope to bring exciting new maki roll combinations to the table to excite the taste buds of our diners.”
At 3Fils’ sushi counter, guests can find mouthwatering options including longtime favorites such as Wagyu + Caviar Nigiri, Foie Gras Caviar Nigiri, Shrimp Tempura Tornado or Spicy Tuna Roll with Three Sauce Wasabi Mayonnaise ,there are more.
