AD Ports Group, a leading facilitator of global trade, logistics and industry, has signed a term agreement with Enter Engineering Group to launch a new business providing logistics and freight forwarding services in the Central Asian country of Uzbekistan.

According to the agreement, the two parties will establish a joint venture company to manage logistics and freight forwarding services, including air, sea, land and rail logistics, warehousing, contract logistics and customs clearance.

Enter Engineering Group was established in 2012 and is one of the fastest growing companies in the Central Asian industrial construction market.

The Head of Terms is the latest in a series of international agreements signed by AD Ports Group to support ports, logistics and digital projects around the world, and the first of its kind with a leading Uzbek enterprise.

AD Ports Group will also support Enter Engineering Group’s tender work in the UAE, with a particular focus on the energy sector, a senior official said.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO, said: “As part of our national leadership mandate, we are leveraging the expertise and resources we have developed in Abu Dhabi and using them to support ambitious internationalisation and global growth plans.”

“We are delighted to sign this agreement with Enter Engineering Group, a market leader in Uzbekistan’s dynamic industrial engineering sector,” he noted.

“Working with our new partners, we see significant opportunities to enhance the capacity and connectivity of logistics channels in the region, which will help drive economic growth and further strengthen the ties between our two countries,” he added.

Bakhtiyor Fazilov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enter Engineering Group, said: “We are delighted and proud to have signed this agreement and believe that our strong synergies with AD Ports Group will bring real benefits to our clients and stimulate new business opportunities. “

“The agreement will create jobs, support the needs of businesses in Uzbekistan and open channels for international trade and development,” he added.

According to the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, the UAE and Uzbekistan have made significant progress in developing a portfolio of joint investment projects in recent years, with around 15 projects currently under development worth $5 billion.
