UAE president orders emergency aid for flood-hit Pakistan – News

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered emergency relief aid to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which is witnessing torrential rains and floods, causing casualties and displacement.

Sheikh Mohammed also ordered all humanitarian relief services to be provided to the displaced to increase their ability to overcome the challenges they face.

The UAE’s relief aid includes some 300,000 tonnes of food supplies, as well as large supplies of medical and medicine, as well as tents and shelter materials.

The UAE Rescue Team will also provide various humanitarian support to Pakistani cadres and agencies to ensure the safety of those affected and their food, medical and logistical needs.
