Miyao, Moizinho, Tinoco and more perform in the Masters area on the first day of Florida Jiu-Jitsu Weekend

Welterweight (77kg) – In the most crowded bracket, Lucas Gomez has fought three times in his fight for gold. He beat Leo Saggioro by referee decision and then scored against Cesar Miyahira in a 3-3 draw. Gomez beat Pedro Neto 6-5 in the battle for gold.

Middleweight (-85kg) – Marcos Tinoco put together an impeccable campaign to win gold. In three matches, he beat Argentina’s Enrique March 2-0 and Uruguay’s Fausto Godoy 3-0. The gold game pits Tinoco against Jaime Canuto, and a 4-3 lead means the championship.
