13 epic pool parties now making waves in Abu Dhabi

There is no party like the UAE Summer Pool Party…

In summer in the UAE, you have two options, you can go indoors and enjoy the coolness of the air conditioner, or you can head to the cool swimming pool for zero-chill fun…we know what we’d rather do right away…

All parties are restricted to ages 21 and over unless otherwise stated.

Abu Dhabi Gulf Beach

That position made for a monster four-for-one record on the pool party scoreboard. Based on a stretch of Reem Island’s beachy coastline, Cove Beach offers a sun-drenched seaside carnival itinerary to the capital’s Bohemian beaches. On Fridays there is Aqua Cove, 3 hours of free flow for AED 159 (3-6pm), courtesy of Captain DJ Eldar Stuff on deck. It’s followed by “Rosé All Night”, also on Fridays, where ladies can enjoy four hours (9pm-1am) of all-you-can-drink for Dhs99. Cafe Del Mar BBQ Pool Party

Straight from Ibiza’s Balleric Beat Factory, Del Mar Cafe landed on the waterfront next to the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. There’s an infinity pool, a cheeky little man-made beach, a poolside bar and a proper thumping soundtrack. Adjacent Hilton guests can use it for free, and everyone else can buy a day pass for Dhs250 (with Dhs150 as dining credit) on weekdays and Dhs350 on weekends (also with Dhs150 as a credit). There’s also now a BBQ Pool Party, held every Saturday between 1pm and 5pm, and the price of AED 499 includes free-flow selected beverages, unlimited BBQ plates, pool access, towels, lounge chairs and some absolute Epic Bass Cone. Cancun Wednesday at Amerigos

Amerigos brings Latin fuego all year round, but the thing about fuego is that you need a cool place. Enter the Cancun Wednesday Wet Pools section. Live entertainment, three hours of all-you-can-drink, and no Mexican carnival without food. There is a 50% discount on the menu, which is an advantage that is well worth checking out.

Almaya Island Pool Party

Yes, we’re taking you back to the island, Almaya Island and Resort to be exact. It happens every Saturday between noon and 8pm. We totally allow you to get excited – because there is no orgies, like orgies where you can shower. Tickets cost AED 250, which includes AED 100 food and beverage credits and your boat transfer. As with the show’s repertoire, DJ rosta mixes weekly, creating a festival of hectic beats, sun-drenched seating, and carnival feasts.

Ferry services to Al Maya Island depart from the stop close to the presidential palace. Boat rides are between 10 and 15 minutes (depending on boat and conditions. Trip cost is included in your day pass.

La Loca at Saadiyat Beach Club

Ricky Martin has been trying to live crazy life For the past two decades, you know Ricky, we finally got you. This Saturday, September 3rd (next date to be confirmed) at the Saadiyat Beach Club – entry for the ladies is just AED 90 and you get four free drinks. Guys, you know the exercise, it’s 250 dirhams and you get a big wet zero on the free tab (although table packages are available). The tracks are produced by some of the UAE’s hottest turntable talents – DJ Kaboo, Dj Bliss and DJ Nuff Said, and you can also choose to score yourself some ultra-exclusive cabin privacy.

Liquid x Dip Fest at Aloft

Held at that thriving Good Times Manor, Aloft Abu Dhabi – the event is essentially a good night brunch, with a bubbly bubbly party that peaks. Free flow beverage package from 8pm to 11pm for AED 199. Look forward to outrageous inflatables, legendary local DJs lighting up the decks, and some truly wild water rave adventures. The next session is scheduled for Friday, September 2, and will be themed “white” – wear 50 shades of light and don’t worry about spilling a mess because spoiler alert, you’ll get wet.

Neon Night at Yas Waterworld

This one is for families. The Yas Waterworld Neon Nights collection has been lighting up our summers. Visitors can use it from 10am until 9pm, but after sunset, a splash of neon lights will start to liven things up. In addition to the brightly lit kaleidoscope visuals, there’s the UAE’s only neon lazy river, live DJs, LED dance performances and party games including glow-in-the-dark Tic Tac Toe, Jenga and Connect Four.

this is not a party itself, but you already know that W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island is an overall key ambience, so their pool complex will be the go-to recreational space near the pool for discerning diving connoisseurs in the capital. Their Monday-Saturday ‘Daydream at Wet Deck’ deal is just AED 150 per adult and you can get your food and drink back in full. Between noon and 8pm, you can relax in a sublime supine position with a Wet Deck welcome pack that includes a bottle of water, popsicles and access to those plush purple-cushioned lounge chairs.
