DUBAI: Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic discussed progress in the implementation of the bilateral agreement on government modernization signed by the two governments last May during a meeting with the official delegation of the UAE government.
The agreement aims to enhance knowledge exchange, share successful experiences, build the capacity of government cadres, and adopt best practices in government work.
The meeting discussed the progress of bilateral government cooperation in the field of modernization, the results achieved by the two governments within three months of launch, ways to activate ten areas of cooperation, and speeding up the implementation of joint initiatives and projects related to the Chinese and American governments. them.
Ana Brnabić emphasized that Serbia and the UAE share a common vision and priorities in digitization, investment in education, R&D, science and everything that can help Serbia become an innovative nation.
She said that the exchange of experience and knowledge with the UAE is of great significance in strengthening Serbia’s position in the fields of research, science, education and innovation, and she praised the level of excellence in the relations between the two countries.
Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Director of the Prime Minister’s Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, stressed that the UAE government is keen to promote international cooperation aimed at exchanging and sharing successful government knowledge, expertise and experience.
He said that the meeting with the Serbian Prime Minister talked about the results achieved since the signing of the bilateral government modernization cooperation agreement, and that about 20 seminars were organized in the past three months, attended by hundreds of government employees and witnessed the completion of more than a thousand training hours.
The UAE delegation held several meetings with Serbian government officials, in addition to visits and knowledge visits to a number of government agencies and institutions.
