DXB LIVE, the integrated event management and organisational services arm of the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), has announced a 10% business increase in the first half of the year compared to pre-pandemic levels (first half of 2019).
During the first six months of 2022, DXB LIVE will apply its extensive expertise to more than 450 projects, including 260 events and 43 exhibitions. Events and projects include Gulf Foods, Arabian Health, Medical Lab, Dubai International Boat Show, Dubai Jewellery Show and Intersec, among others, WAM reports.
The Dubai Association Conference, ICA, Dubai Health Forum and Knowledge Summit are one of the six global conferences that make up the DXB LIVE 2022 list of achievements.
record high returns
Events and services related to events held at DWTC delivered record high returns and increased international, regional and local visitors. The success of these events has spread to all sectors, eventually leading to the rise of tourism as a whole.
Additional comprehensive production services were provided for the 12 concert series at the Expo site, including the unrivaled Bollywood concert “The Big Bang”, which attracted approximately 3,500 people.
The Expo 2020 Dubai site and Expo Dubai also provided further assistance and support for the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, with 36 weddings and 5 graduations respectively. Festivals, sporting events, exhibitions and fashion shows are also curated, managed and organised by DXB LIVE in the UAE and abroad.
90 booths
Over 90 booths were designed and built, covering approximately 200,000 square feet. These include 25 pavilions at Gulfood, 10 at Arabian Tourism Market, 9 at Dubai International Boat Show, 3 at Arab Health and 6 at Intersec. In addition, DXB LIVE is the general contractor for four major exhibitions including JGT Dubai Jewellery Show. January was the most active month of the year for Architecture and Events Executive Design and Construction with over 159 booths and pavilions, followed by March with 103 Architecture and Design experiences and February with 92.

DXB LIVE’s contribution to the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival remains one of the most popular events in the company’s programming. DXB LIVE designed and conceptualized 23,000 square meters of space in the main gallery lobby for the art awards ceremony. The Art Awards welcomed 296 artworks from 48 regional and international countries and hosted 10 engaging workshops for visitors.
