Khartoum, 2nd September, 2022 (WAM) — The fourth plane of the UAE’s rescue air bridge to Sudan has arrived at Khartoum airport, carrying 30 tonnes of housing materials and other essentials to help the country affected by the ravages of of people affected by the flood.
The UAE aid plane was received by Dr Ahmed Ali Qalam, a representative of the Sudanese Ministry of Social Development, as well as members of the UAE Embassy in Khartoum and the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) team.

Mohammed Salem Al Junaibi, head of the Sudan ERC team, noted that the ERC team is continuing its humanitarian and relief work to support the Sudanese people through the crisis.
Dr Kalam said the aid from the fourth plane would be distributed to affected areas in Sudan. He added that this humanitarian assistance is further evidence of the UAE’s deep concern for Sudan, stressing that the UAE has been the first to provide aid to the Sudanese people.
