UAE TDRA scheme wins Silver and Gold at Brandon Hall

The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority’s (TDRA) digital enabler training programme and digital competency and awareness strategy have won Gold and Silver at the 2022 Brandon Hall Awards.

The Digital Enabler training program won two gold medals in the Best Learning Technology and Best Learning Team categories, and a silver medal in Best Association Professional Development Program.

Digital Competency and Awareness Strategies won the Silver Award for Best Progress in the Create Learning Strategies category.

Strengthen digital transformation

Commenting on the achievement, Eng Mohammad Al Zarooni, Deputy Director-General, Information and Digital Government Sector, said: “The UAE has become a benchmark for success in the field of digital transformation and a long list of achievements has caught the attention of stakeholders. Goals

Al Zarooni said that awarding the award to the Digital Enabler Training Programme and the Digital Capacity Building and Awareness Strategy is a meaningful step towards achieving the strategic goals of digital government aimed at empowering the nation’s society, noting that the Digital Enabler Training Programme is one of many programmes offered by TDRA through its Virtual Academy and plays an active role in spreading the culture of digital transformation and training future skills, tools and concepts. It is also considered part of TDRA’s social responsibility work.

One of the digital enablers in the comprehensive digital transformation roadmap, the TDRA Virtual Academy has trained over 300,000 trainees from 50 countries over the past few years.

The purpose of launching the Digital Enabler Training Programme is to develop the skills of government and private sector employees in digital transformation enablers, to enhance the necessary competencies in the field to provide digital services that meet customer needs, and to strengthen the UAE’s integrated and integrated digital life construction .
