Al Ansari Exchange announced on Wednesday that it is donating Dh1 million to relief efforts in Pakistan as the country suffers the worst flooding in recent history.
The initiative aims to support affected communities and support official funds earmarked to support relief efforts.
Mohammed Ali Al Ansari, Chairman of Al Ansari Exchange, said: “Our efforts to support the people of Pakistan affected by this natural disaster are part of our commitment to respond effectively and quickly to humanitarian crises of this type.”

“In these difficult times, we stand with Pakistan and its people in the hope that we can relieve some of their suffering and provide the urgent and essential humanitarian assistance they need,” he added.
The company also announced that from today, September 7 to September 30, it will be offering free remittances to Pakistan’s official charities to support those wishing to provide aid and donations to the Flood Relief Fund.
