Trina Solar, the world’s leading supplier of photovoltaic (PV) modules and smart energy solutions, announced the supply of new next-generation photovoltaic vertex panels to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
Trina Solar’s latest Vertex module is the latest innovative upgrade to the 210mm Vertex technology platform, featuring rectangular cells – the first ever non-square cells – and fewer cells for better hotspot performance, yielding 2 Optical and electrical properties – 3%.
The new Vertex 580W technology consists of next-generation photovoltaic cells that deliver up to 580W of maximum power output, 21.5% module efficiency and string power using high-density interconnect technology. The new Vertex S series offers up to 435W of maximum power output, 21.8% module efficiency and string power using high-density interconnect technology.
Higher power and efficiency
Antonio Jimenez, Managing Director and Vice President of Trina Solar Middle East and Africa, commented: “The new Vertex series offers higher power output and efficiency, better reliability and lower cost. Upgrading to higher power and Efficiency means a superior product experience and superior return on investment, delivering greater customer value and leading industry standards.”
This year’s newly installed photovoltaic capacity is expected to exceed 200GW. Trina Solar has launched a new Vertex module, aiming to create higher value for customers in various market segments and promote continuous innovation in the industry.
“As Trina Solar – voted the most profitable module brand* – we look forward to taking the solar industry to a whole new level as we strive to provide the region with clean and sustainable energy and thus lead a carbon-neutral world ,” Jimenez added.
Revolutionary Features
The innovation of the upgraded Vertex module lies in its high efficiency, better reliability and higher energy yield. Its revolutionary features include innovative low voltage and high string power, resulting in lower BOS (Balance of System) costs, shorter payback periods, and the ability to generate large amounts of energy even in limited spaces.
It has an optimal size and weight, making it economical and easy to handle, and can be transported with a variety of mounting solutions. Suitable for small applications, ideal/best choice for applications up to 20kW. This is a unique product as it involves multiple busbar (metal strip) technology with better light trapping, lower series resistance and improved current collection, resulting in a higher return on investment (ROI) for the model .
The module also has higher customer value and lower LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) reduced labor costs. Additionally, it has a minimum guaranteed first year and annual downgrades and is designed to be compatible with existing mainstream system components.
low installation cost
Additionally, it reduces installation costs through a higher power box and efficiency, while improving warm-weather performance with its lower temperature coefficient (-0.34%/°C) and operating temperature. With high reliability, it offers a 12-year product and 25-year performance warranty with minimal degradation.
Finally, the module has mechanical performance up to 5400 Pa (Pascals) pressure positive load and 2400 Pa negative load, the unique design provides optimized energy production under inter-row shading conditions.
Trina Solar’s products and systems have obtained multiple ISO certifications in various functional departments such as quality management, environmental management, greenhouse gas emissions and occupational health and safety management. — arab trade news agency
