In addition, Al Marar participated in the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee on Stopping Israeli Measures in Occupied Jerusalem, chaired by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with the UAE as a member of the Arab representative on the Security Council and the Democratic People’s Republic of Algeria as the representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al Marar noted that given the increasing turmoil, tension and polarization on the global stage, the UAE shares the international community’s concerns about the impact on peace, security and stability at the regional and international levels.

He went on to say that it is necessary to reiterate the UAE’s belief in abiding by international law, the UN Charter, multilateral action, respect for the principles of peaceful settlement of international disputes, respect for national sovereignty and independence and non-interference in its internal affairs, that diplomacy remains the best way to resolve crises, dialogue and negotiation It is an indispensable tool for resolving regional and international conflicts.

Al Marar explained that global uncertainties and tensions have exacerbated the unprecedented challenges facing Arab countries, necessitating increased collective action, coordination and cooperation to resolve regional crises and restore optimism among the Arab people to ensure that A better future of peace, stability, development and prosperity.

He stressed that the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, regional and global food insecurity, climate change and water scarcity, efforts to enhance security and stability, and the fight against extremism and terrorism, requires joint Arab action and innovative solutions .

Al Marar said it was necessary to acknowledge the progress that Arab countries had made in addressing these challenges. The Industrial Partnership Agreement for Sustainable Economic Development between the UAE, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Arab Republic of Egypt constitutes a model for joint Arab action to address development imperatives and the impact of the pandemic. In addition, the Alamein summit leaders’ meeting reflects the coordination and consultation of Arab countries to overcome the challenges of stability and development in the Arab world.

In this regard, Al Marar reiterated his call for the UAE to respond constructively to Iran’s repeated initiatives and called for direct negotiations or recourse to the International Court of Justice.

Furthermore, he reiterated the UAE’s firm position in support of the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital on June 4, 1967, in accordance with the resolutions and principles of international legitimacy, the Arab Peace Initiative and the two-state solution. . He also called for support for all regional and international efforts to advance the peace process towards a just and comprehensive peace.

Al Marar affirmed the UAE’s support for Egypt and Jordan in their efforts to reach a resolution that meets the aspirations of the Palestinian people, overcomes challenges to stability and peace, while avoiding escalation, tension, violence and confrontation, and preventing unilateral measures. He also emphasized that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan should respect the guardianship of holy sites and heritage sites in accordance with international law and the current historical situation, without compromising the authority of the Jerusalem Donation Authority and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In addition, Al Marar welcomed Yemen’s agreement to establish a Presidential Leadership Council and continue the ceasefire, while stressing the key role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the importance of achieving a comprehensive and sustainable ceasefire and access. He also stressed his support for the efforts of the United Nations and its special envoy to Yemen, as well as other efforts aimed at securing a political settlement in Yemen. Al Marar continued to call on the international community to support compliance with the ceasefire, and to put pressure on the terrified Houthi militias to abide by the terms of the ceasefire in order to achieve peace and end the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Regarding the Syrian crisis, Al Marar stressed the importance of ensuring that the Arabs play an active role in efforts to reach a political solution, helping Syria return to the Arab state and rejecting regional intervention in the country.

On Libya, he noted that the UAE condemned the recent armed violence in Libya in August and called for the protection of civilians, government headquarters and property. The UAE urges the abandonment of divisions, a return to calm and serious dialogue, and putting national interests first to restore security and stability in Libya. Al Marar also reiterated the UAE’s position, calling for a solution to the conflict through a political process led and owned by Libyans. He also noted that the UAE fully supports all that maintains Libya’s security, stability and unity and realizes the aspirations of its people for development, stability and prosperity.

Al Marar said that in light of recent developments in Iraq, the UAE affirms its solidarity with Iraq to face the challenges. The UAE aspires to a stable and prosperous Iraq, supports all that achieves its security, stability, territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence, and calls for non-interference in its internal affairs.

Regarding Sudan, he noted that the UAE is following developments in Sudan and stressed the importance of continued dialogue among all parties to reach consensus to advance the transition phase. Al Marar also expressed the UAE’s sincere condolences, solidarity and sympathy for the floods and rains in large parts of the country, stressing the UAE’s confidence in Sudan’s ability to overcome these challenges.

Regarding Somalia, Al Marar said that the UAE congratulated the establishment of the new Somali government and wished the Somali people success and prosperity.

He emphasized the UAE’s consistent commitment to achieving peace, spreading tolerance, moderation and coexistence among peoples, rejecting violence, extremism and hatred, prioritizing dialogue, reason, diplomatic and political solutions between nations, focusing on the human dimension , building bridges of communication and understanding, and underscoring the need for Arab and regional coordination to achieve a stable and prosperous future in the region.

Al Marar also said that, given the UAE’s keenness to address the challenges facing the Arab world, and the UAE’s belief in the importance of cultural diversity in enriching human civilization, developing countries and building bridges between peoples, the UAE affirms that the family is a part of society The pillar, the family must be protected to advance social progress.
