Turkish Airlines increases service to UAE – Business Traveller

Turkish Airlines said it will increase the frequency of flights to Istanbul from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.

Turkish Airlines currently has three daily flights from Dubai (DXB) to Istanbul (IST) airport, which will increase to four daily flights from October 2022, in addition to three weekly flights to Sabie operated by Anadolujet Flights from Hagokcen Airport (SAW).

Flight TK765 will depart from DXB at 4pm and flight TK764 from Istanbul at 8.15am.

From October 2022, the airline’s daily flights from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Istanbul Airport will increase to ten weekly flights. Flight TK867 will depart AUH at 7.55am on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flight TK866 will depart Istanbul at 1.20am on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Turkish Airlines launches new carbon offset program

As for Sharjah, the airline will resume flights to the emirate in the United Arab Emirates on October 3, 2022, three times a week. Currently, Anadolujet operates four weekly flights from Sabiha Gokcen Airport to Sharjah. Flight TK755 will depart from Sharjah Airport at 7.40am on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays to Istanbul Airport, while flight TK754 will depart from Istanbul Airport to Sharjah on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 1.15am .

With these increased frequencies, the total number of flights from the UAE has increased to 48 weekly flights.

The airline said the decision to strengthen connections to the UAE was made “in response to growing customer demand” and “to ease international travel protocols”. Turkish Airlines also recently celebrated its 40th anniversary of flying to the UAE.

From its Istanbul hub, the airline connects passengers to 340 destinations around the world, including 287 international and 53 domestic routes.
