Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judiciary Department (ADJD) has expanded the use of interactive bilingual claim forms to court cases and added Spanish.

Youssef Saeed Al Abri, Deputy Minister of Justice of Abu Dhabi, said the expanded use of bilingual claim forms is in line with the instructions of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court and President of the Presidential Court. Al Abri added that the interactive form is also available in Arabic in addition to one of the approved languages, and court users will be able to easily select the language and become familiar with the specific legal process for litigation in Abu Dhabi courts. He said the forms simplify the registration process with an interactive claim form, which includes an advocacy section for litigants, ensuring access to legal texts relevant to their cases.
In addition to using simple terminology and presenting a list of common claims in court, the claim form also features infographics. This form can be completed by an individual through the ADJD’s website without the need for expert assistance.
