India-UAE travel: Passengers landing in Dubai on Emirates flights, rules clarified-News

With the relaxation of flight restrictions between the two countries, the first stranded residents from India have arrived in the UAE.

A resident who returned from one of the planes said that there were more than 100 passengers on the plane. He clarified the Covid vaccine requirements for travelers.

Ashraf said: “People who have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in the UAE are allowed to board the plane.”

He also clarified that the approval process for visa holders issued by Dubai to fly to Dubai is different from the approval process for visa holders issued by other UAE.

Another resident, Rajesh Purakkot, said that he traveled to India on July 2 to reunite with his family. He said he booked a ticket through a travel agency on August 4 at a price of 19,200 rupees (950 dirhams).

“I ran the PCR test on the same day. The results came out in the evening, and my brother in Dubai entered all the relevant details on the GDRFA website, and then we got the approval,” he said.

He added that the approval process takes about 30 minutes.

The graphic designer said that there were only about 25 people on the plane.

He also clarified the process after landing in Dubai. “We underwent a PCR test when we landed at the airport. We were required to quarantine until the results came out.”
