Pietie ‘Thunder’ Coxen from Elsborg celebrates the return of three of his students from the 2022 IMMAF Youth World Championships in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Previously, GCN reported that his pupils Kiara Willemse, Vaughn Pretorious and Louis van Collor will compete in the prestigious competition in August.
In the competition, Kiara won the bronze medal in the youth group C with a weight of under 48 kg.
She said hard work and determination contributed to her success.
Pietie said he is proud of all his students regardless of the tournament’s outcome.
“I told them at the airport that being in the race has made them winners. They have to go and enjoy themselves. Winning anything from the race is a reward,” Pitty said.

“As a coach, I’m proud to go to Abu Dhabi to compete with three of the 20-odd kids from my gym,” he said.
“For the first time in the history of this competition, South Africa has won gold, silver and bronze.
“I watched the video of them playing and they did a great job,” Pitty said.
Along with the congratulations, Pietie is training and preparing for his upcoming match against Tom ‘The Greek Warrior’ Theocharis on September 8th.
