UAE residents who have been in their home country for several weeks are finally returning to the emirate.
Starting today (August 5), residents in the UAE who have received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine; vaccinated and unvaccinated health workers, teachers, humanitarian cases, and people working in federal and local government agencies You can fly to the UAE from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria and Uganda.

Based on the instructions issued by the authorities and the experience of travelers, Khaleej Times has compiled a list to help stranded residents fly back to the UAE.
Vaccination status
Residents who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 are among the 10 categories of foreigners allowed to fly to the UAE. However, entry is restricted to those who have received two doses of the vaccine in the UAE. The second dose must be taken at least 14 days before travel.
The vaccine certificate is mandatory and must be provided on the AlHosn or Dubai Health Authority app.

ICA/GDRFA approved
Holders of visas issued in Dubai must be approved by the General Directorate of Residence and Aliens Affairs (GDRFA).
For visas issued in all other emirates, approval from the Federal Identity and Citizenship Administration (ICA) must be obtained.

Others can get approval here.
A copy of passport, UAE ID card, visa page, vaccination certificate (if applicable) and PCR test results are required for approval.

PCR test
A negative result of PCR test must be performed within 48 hours from the date of departure. The test must be carried out by an accredited laboratory with a QR code. Passengers must also undergo a rapid PCR test before boarding. When landing at the UAE airport, they will undergo another PCR test.

Arrive at the airport of origin
