This is becoming a habit.
For the third year in a row, there will be no major concerts at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, when Arizona State Fair 2022 Return to the Arizona State Fairgrounds in Phoenix on September 23rd.
After canceling the 2020 show due to COVID-19, show representatives said the event did not have enough money to host a major concert in 2021.
It’s unclear why there will be no major concerts at the 2022 show, and whether the concert series will return. The Arizona Republic has asked fairness representatives for more details.
No big concerts.But here’s what to expect at the Arizona State Fair
There will be entertainment though, including race cars, monster trucks and a backyard concert series tribute band playing The Beatles, No Doubt, Bruno Mars, Van Halen, AC/DC, Billy Joel, Journey, Celine Na and more.
One group, CC Seger, made two tributes for the price of one – Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bob Seger.
There’s also the Omnium Circus for Acrobats.
For decades, the Arizona State Fair concert series has captivated generations at low prices, from esteemed Rock and Roll Hall of Famers like Cops, Johnny Cash and Nirvana, to Selena Gomez A budding star of a hit TV show like St.
This year’s tribute show will take place in the stands northwest of the fairgrounds, starting at 8:30pm most days.
